Adora stares at the words for a minute, trying to make sense of them.
You should keep it. It’s not stupid at all.
The response is instantaneous.
I should have bought it in red.
Adora shakes her head even though Catra can’t see her. She ends up pushing the call button on her phone without really thinking about it.
“The pink looks gorgeous on you. Really. I’m not just saying that.”
“You don’t have to—”
“I know.” Every bone in her body wishes she could show Catra just what she thinks about the lingerie set. How she feels about her. “You look so soft.” She whispers.
She hears Catra let out a soft exhale before shakily breathing in. “Did you think about touching me?”
Adora doesn’t expect the direct question or the deep and vulnerable way Catra says it. She’s used to denying this part of herself, but Catra almost sounds hopeful and Adora can’t say anything other than the truth.
“And more than that.”

If anyone had told Karlach she would struggle to acclimate to the real world after being in hell so long, she would have laughed at them.
The bodies she left behind told a different story.
Now, if anybody had told her that the path that led her down involved saving a drow from multiple dark gods piece by piece and inch by inch, that she would have believed. That’s the kind of story she wanted to be known for. That’s the kind of life she wanted to live.
Aka the story where Karlach makes some mistakes and vows to do better, Shadowheart and Lae’zel bond over their shared disdain, Astarion just wants to feel safe, and Minthara slowly realizes it’s ok to let people in.
