Nemesis is a Greek goddess associated with divide retribution, vengeance and justice. The role of Nemesis is complex, as she is considered both a punisher of hubris and a bringer of balance. Her name is derived from the Greek word "nemesis," which means "to give what is due" or "to distribute."
