    Just as you’re beginning to drift back off into the hazy half-asleep state that you crave, Tamsy stirs. You hear him exhale fondly, and then he’s turning over to face you. You make a disgruntled noise at the movement. You were comfortable.

    Tamsy ignores you. He doesn’t even open his eyes as he shifts to slot you tight against his chest, his arm coming up to wrap around your waist. He pulls you impossibly close to him. Like this, you can hear his heart beating as evenly as his breath. His hair tickles your chin and cheeks.

    “Tamsy…” you mumble, voice heavy with sleep, “your hair.”

    “Hm?” Tamsy doesn’t budge.
