Summary

Summary
Wei Ying pulls off Chenqing. The note abruptly falters, going sharp as he blocks the blow intended for Lan Wangji.
The strike is strong and fast. The Wen’s knife is sharp. It takes Wei Ying’s body an endless, aching moment to realize it has been harmed. And then there’s blood, splashing hot across Wei Ying’s face and clothing.
Wei Wuxian is injured on the battlefield defending Lan Wangji. They both have feelings about it.

The thing is, it’s not so much the fact that Lan Wangji is a stripper. Like yeah, was it the shock of the century that the boy who brought his own cloth napkin to the cafeteria in high school is now a main act stripper? Sure. But it’s unfortunately so much more than that.

Summary
Even as his grief brings him to his knees, years after Wei Wuxian's death when everyone thinks he should have moved on already, Lan Wangji clings to it. It's one of the last pieces he has of Wei Wuxian. He will not let it hold him back; too many people need him for him to completely succumb to it, but this grief is his and he will not let the world take it from him.

Summary
There are only sixteen ways to silence Wei Wuxian, so far, when he absolutely will not silence himself, but Lan Wangji considers this list a work in progress. Perhaps it will be the work of his lifetime, a feat worth immortalizing in song and story.
Not that this particular method will find its way into a song for anyone else’s ears.
