Summary
Fuck fuck fuck! What the fuck is he doing here? It's supposed to be his day off!
Tommy was panicking internally as he bats off Dream's attacks, heart pounding in his chest. He gives Ranboo a fearful glance as their attention becomes divided between the two heroes. They lock eyes and Tommy switches to mimicking Dream's power instead. He only ever mimicked Tubbo's as a last resort due to how hard it was to control.
Tommy was only barely able to dodge Blade's attack. Techno had been quite open about being a hero to Tommy, but Tommy hadn't told him about being a vigilante.
Tommy saps the energy from the nearest news camera and wraps it tightly around Blade's wrist and yanking it down to put him off balance and stopping the punch. The moment the hero falters, Ranboo throws a punch, sending him back a few paces.
A bolt of electricity shoots over their head, hitting Dream straight in the face. It doesn't seem to do too much damage—only cracking the porcelain mask—but they can feel Dream trying to hit harder than before.

Grian remembers the day it happened. It had been a slow day at the clinic, and he'd been feeding all of the overnight pets when there had been a commotion up front. There had been these horrible screams that he still couldn't forget. He had rushed out to see what was going on, only to find the place filled with zombies—Skizz being one of them.
He had quickly grabbed the other vet techs and brought them to the back room where the animals were kept, locked the door, and barricaded it.
His coworkers had dwindled quickly, and after only a week, it was down to only him and Mumbo. Mumbo had better survival instincts than anyone else in the clinic apparently.
It had only been a month since then and now Grian was out scavenging for food for him and his best friend. He had on a thick wool coat to prevent bites and a rusty iron pipe at his side, clutched in a gloved hand. They had plenty of first-aid supplies, so they didn't need to worry about that. Their only concern was protecting what they have, food, and clean water. They even had plenty of padding since the clinic kept it for the more aggressive animals to prevent bites.

Summary
Lizzie watches her father's body by carted away by the undertaker. He had finally succumbed to whatever sickness he had after weeks. Her wool navy blue dress did nothing to help warm her as she stands outside the bakery, watching the cart until she can't see it any longer. She wishes Joel was here to comfort her, but he was only ever around at night. She thought it quite weird, but it doesn't concern her too much.
It seemed the incompetent doctors were right. He didn't last more than a month. It seems they aren't as incompetent as she thought. Without her father—and without a will—she doesn't get to work at her family's bakery. Someone new would buy it, and she would be left in the streets with no income. No way to buy food. Nowhere to sleep.
She wraps her coat around herself, holding back her tears. She can't see the cart anymore, so she goes back in. The bakery was still hers for now. She climbs the stairs, shedding her coat and curling up in her bed. She felt like she was going to throw up.
