Summary
Some time after the gang wars in New York, Ash finally comes to live in Japan with Eiji, and the lines in their relationship are quickly blurred. Neither knows what to do, or how to handle the fact their friendship is taking on a different form. Whether they want to or not, both Ash and Eiji need to admit to themselves and each other that their relationship isn't the same as it was in New York.

Summary
Over a year After Ash’s death, Eiji has not been doing well. Sing convinces him to come back to New York in hopes it will make him feel at least slightly better. Unbeknownst to Eiji, Lynxes have nine lives.
(Ash has faked his death in hopes Eiji would move on. He wasn’t prepared for it to make everything worse. He has a lot to make up for.)

Summary
Nearly eight years after Ash’s death, Eiji has given up hope that he’ll ever be able to move on. He tried once, and it almost killed him. It’s been almost a decade, yet he still can’t shake the feeling that somehow Ash is out there watching him, judging him for even entertaining the thought of moving on. Now, with each passing day, he drifts dangerously closer to death’s beckoning call. Fortunately, Sing, who has become his closest friend, refuses to leave his side. Although Eiji appreciates his friend’s concern, he can’t help but wonder if Sing’s friendship is rooted in something deeper, something he can’t reciprocate.
“How’s he fairing this year?”
“Not good.”
“But better than last year, I assume?”
“Worse.”
“Surely, he couldn’t be worse.”
“He is. At least last year he was trying to be happy. This year… I haven’t seen him this bad in some time.”
“Does he have anyone?”
“He has Sing.”
“He always has Sing.”
“Well, what did you mean then?”
“Any lovers this year?”
“No one since last year. I’ve been watching.”
