But her battle against the Ministry’s marriage law is one she loses. Badly. And now, she has to contend with not only public derision and patriarchal politics, but her growing feelings for her government-mandated spouse.

Summary
Hermione, as usual, has done the impossible. She has found a cure for the obliviate spell, and she is eager to present her findings to the wizarding world at large. The problem is, Hermione is attacked when presenting her research at St. Mungo's, and she finds herself rescued by a masked man in tactical gear. Only, he's using a gun... and a wand?
Draco has been forced into servitude along with every other child of the death eaters. It wasn't a choice to join the underground task force, but he does rather excel at it. As he does. The Knights, all of whom go by code names and operate in the shadows, carry out their orders with deadly precision. They do not usually play bodyguard to other witches and wizards.
Hermione is the exception. Draco is tasked with keeping Hermione alive, protecting her from what seems to be a muggle army. Or zombies. They're not exactly sure. Only, Hermione has no idea who is behind the mask. All she knows is that a Knight has been sent to her flat, H3. And she's stuck with him.

Convincing said witch that he was also her best option? Check.
Getting married and making a baby under a totally reasonable and not-at-all morally questionable Ministry law that definitely didn’t violate any human rights? Big check.
Raising said child (children?) with his brilliant wife in a household where sarcasm is the dominant love language and where the days are filled with nappies, toys scattered around, endless school-related quarrels, teenage mood swings, and Merlin knows what else? Ch... check…?
Draco is learning, daily and painfully, that no amount of Slytherin cunning prepares you for parenthood.
***
A fast-paced kid fic that follows Draco and Hermione’s journey from “Barely sixty percent match” to full-blown parenthood, this time from his perspective, following their children’s lives from birth to… much later.

This is Part 2 of their story and it's from Draco's POV. There are a lot of spoilers for BSPM right from the first chapter, so if you've stumbled upon here by accident, and not after Part 1, this is your chance to jump over there and see if you’d even enjoy this marriage law and pregnancy-heavy story! 😊

Summary
In a world where Voldemort won, order members are being captured and returned with the dark mark, and no one knows why.
Hermione Granger is in exile, sent away to a French cottage after Ron Weasley died by her hand.
Draco Malfoy is rescued after three and a half years of captivity—if you can call what's left of him rescued. Theo Nott tears through wards and stone to find him, then sends him to the only place that might be safe: to her.
Two people too broken to be trusted with anything except each other. Two survivors who've lost everything learning that sometimes the most dangerous thing isn't the war outside.
As the war rages on, they think they're safe. But love isn't peace, it's a crash. And no one is safe.

Top tier - brilliant, but devastating on so many levels. Mind the fic’s tags!
