Hyunjin walks away to the dressing room with two outfits in hand. He hangs them up on the door and starts taking the second option off the hanger before he pauses.
Nobody was here.
He could try on the first one, just to see how it felt. His hands run over the skirt, feeling the comfortable fabric that was much better than the leather shorts and jacket that the designer handed him the second time. He looks at the crop top, and he feels himself smiling.

Summary
“Felix isn’t here,” Hyunjin said.
“No. But Felix would have remembered.”
The logic didn’t make sense. Hyunjin knew it didn’t make sense even then. But his father said it with such certainty, such casual conviction, that Hyunjin found himself nodding. Apologizing again. Running to the curb with his heart hammering against his ribs and the word Felix ringing in his ears like the aftershock of a bell.
That was the beginning.
He didn’t know it yet. He thought it was just a bad day, a random comparison, the type of thing parents said without meaning. He didn’t understand that some sentences were seeds, and some seeds took root in soil that had been prepared for them long before they arrived.

Summary
There were rumors circulating that management tried to keep Felix and Hyunjin apart because the company wanted to minimize rumors about them being lovers. That couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality was that the company would prefer it if they flirted on camera. They loved that shit. It brought in views and attention, which meant more money for the company. Hell, if Felix needed some quick cash, he could probably just kiss Hyunjin on a live and he'd get a cash bonus for making viral content.
Instead, Felix and Hyunjin rarely interacted because they couldn’t fucking stand each other.
