Inquisitor Lavellan saved the world, lost the world, then saved it again - loved and lost, loved and lost. Cruel joke upon cruel joke piled atop each other under the disguise of destiny and fate, until the curtains fell on him and Solas with their blades piercing the other's heart. It was a disgustingly poetic end.

Summary
Ever since Lan Xichen’s TV debut Lan Wangji has lived in his brother’s shadow. Typically he’s fine with that. He's never wanted the spotlight. He just wants to go college, work on his degree, and play his music on the side. It is bothersome when so many people try to befriend him in order to get access to his brother but those people usually bounce off of his frosty exterior in just a few sentences and Lan Wangji has gotten /very/ good at getting rid of them so really even if it's annoying it's a small price to pay for his brother's happiness.
That is, until Wei Ying.
OR Lan Xichen is a famous actor and Lan Wangji thinks Wei Wuxian is only spending time with him in order to get close to his brother
