Killua's life—after his soul was rudely thrown into the body of Uchiha Sasuke, but that was a situation he was more or less resigned to—seemed pretty straightforward. Learn, get stronger, and then strangle Uchiha Itachi with his own insides before setting the remains aflame and scattering them in the wind.
At least, it seemed simple until a blond kid with ocean-blue eyes came along and toppled Sasuke’s carefully laid plans of fiery revenge like a house of cards. There was hidden rage in those eyes and potential for violence so beautiful Sasuke wanted to see it bloom. And if there was one thing both the Zoldyck and the Uchiha agreed on, it was that what they wanted was already theirs.
“Sasuke looked into those eyes and suddenly knew that if he asked, Naruto would readily cut off a piece of his own skin and give it to him with a smile.
He shivered, lips parting to suck in a reverent, earning breath. Ador squeezed his heart and held it hostage.
He hid his expression in Naruto’s neck, but it did nothing to disguise the shiver that went up his spine.”

Summary
Kakashi hadn't meant to throw them back in time, but Naruto had been dying and that wasn't something he'd been able to accept lying down. A world without Naruto in it didn't sound like much of a world at all, and all it takes is a flare of his Mangekyou to send them flying through a portal to the past. Tossed into a distant timeline, they suddenly find themselves with a new chance to save not just everyone, but themselves too. And if Kakashi gets to harass his younger self along the way and discover what it feels like to love someone... well, that's just the cherry on top
(OR: Kakashi and Naruto are flung into the past, the opportunity to stop and take a breather makes them realize their feelings for one another may run a little deeper than they initially though, and wow, was Kurama always this fucking annoying?)

Summary
Uzumaki Naruto - the Sixth Hokage, field promoted during the Fourth Shinobi War - may have won the war, but lost all except her devoted Team Seven. As the war-torn land withers into inhabitable graveyard, Naruto desperately works on a time-travel seal, to hopefully fix the mistakes of the past, kill a few people, and cuddle with her most devoted Shadow.
A time-travel story with long winded musings, mixture of trauma and tooth-rotting fluff, and rabid asexual energy.

By cruel trick of the fates, intervention of stupid gods, or just the apathy of an uncaring universe I find myself woken up as Orochimaru just after he had possessed a woman for his new host.
