Rhodey admittedly doesn't know a lot about this kid that Tony not-so-secretly loves, this kid that seems to spend more time at the Tower then not. He'd meant to, he'd wanted to, spend more time with Peter and learn what had made him so special that Tony, of all people, had gobbled him up.

Summary
Tony stopped short as the intern shot a thin, white gooey substance out at the wall.
It stuck.
The kid tugged on it experimentally.
It continued to stick.
“Hmph,” the kid said.
And then he dropped the white sticky thread, which Tony's sleep-deprived mind was completely one hundred percent certain was a web just like Spider-Man’s, and went back to work.
Who knew such things could be hiding in Tony’s own internship labs?
OR: Tony Stark has been looking for Spider-Man for a long time. He has very, very little success in this search, despite Peter Parker working in his labs. Just some fun identity shenanigans >:)

He recalls old memories. Memories layered in dust and glossed over by time. A strike to the face. Words shouted like bruises, worming their way into his skull and causing a shame he’s never been able to shake. A fort in the woods and dice thrown across tables. Laughter easing all of his pain. But never erasing it.
Or
Set during the 18 months between s4 and s5, everyone has too much time on their hands. Will struggles with his constant headaches and growing shame in certain feelings that won't go away, until he meets someone who provides the perfect distraction. And perhaps some self acceptance, but not without cost. Mike can feel Will slipping away, but there are some secrets Will just can't bring himself to share.

Binder half open, Chance froze, turning his head, eyes dark. “What?”
Shifting in his seat, Will averted his gaze. “It’s not assigned seats…you can sit somewhere else today.” He braced himself, ready for Chance to tell him to kick rocks and move seats, he wanted this one. He probably would listen.
Instead, Chance flashed a quick smile, “I know.”
