Summary
The Cloud Recesses can only be found by those in need.
Lan Wangji sets out from his ancestral home to see the world and collect knowledge for his sect. Wei Wuxian leaves Lotus Pier to try and ease the tension for his siblings, assuming it will be better if he's gone for a while. Their paths cross and merge for a time. When they part, neither of them expect Wei Wuxian's path to lead him to the gates of the legendary Cloud Recesses, in need of help.

Summary
All cultivators have animal forms and three times a year, whenever their mating cycles begin they will inevitably shift. After falling into the Burial Mounds and dying, Phoenix Wei Ying revives from his ashes. There seemed to be some changes though he no longer burned with golden and red feathers, they were black and blue now, his fire was silvery, cold. And the most worrisome, he had not had a heat ever since he came out of that god forsaken place.
Not that it mattered of course he was the scary demonic cultivator, but as a hunt in Phoenix Mountain approaches he starts feeling weird, goes anyways and as he was being hunted down by Jin assassins his heat strikes full force.
Good thing a Dragon Lan WangJi is willing to help.

Lán Zhàn hums. "From Wèi Yīng, it is a gift." His tone is firm and he squeezes Wèi Wúxiàn's hands. "I trust Wèi Yīng."
