Summary
When Albedo, a researcher stranded in space, fishes a mysterious man out of a blood ocean, he ends up with more than what he bargained for.
Now with more company than simply that of a trusty baby dragon, both Kunikuzushi and Albedo must survive together. Even if it feels like everything is determined to make that impossible.

Summary
It started with a vision, small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, but more significant than he knew in the moment. The dragon had been a surprise – Albedo knew, in a technical sense, that visions were alive, but he didn’t expect such a direct translation of his true nature. An artificial being. Not so very different than Rhinedottir’s other creations, and with as much potential for destruction as creation.
His master had fallen silent at the sight of it, eyes narrowing and head tilted as she considered this new development. And then, seeming to dismiss it as inconsequential, she had returned to the subject at hand: the experiment, and what lesson she’d been instilling upon him.
And when he woke the next morning, he was alone – if one could be such with a vision and the companion such gifts from the gods granted. All she’d left behind was a still smoldering fire, a letter of introduction, and a goal: to discover the truth and meaning of this world.

Summary
"It might become a problem," Scaramouche said.
"Learning to stay?"
"Trust," he elaborated. "He's starting to hand it out too easily."
Albedo stayed silent for a moment, letting the fading tune fill the space between them.
"I think," he said eventually, "that if Durin spends his whole life expecting people to disappoint him, he'll miss quite a lot."
Scaramouche wanted to argue.
The problem was that every argument he came up with seemed to circle back toward himself rather than Durin.
When Scaramouche agrees to take Durin, who appeared out of nowhere, to see the Alchemist hiding in Dragonspine, he fully thought that was the extent of the mystery. Instead, he somehow finds himself working alongside Albedo while Dragonspine begins changing in ways it shouldn't.

Summary
Whilst Diluc tends the bar at Angel's Share, an unusually quiet Kaeya comes to visit. Unable to be left alone, Diluc has to help Kaeya back home.
All the while, memories of the past, of the brothers they used to be, remind Diluc of what could have been. Their broken relationship doesn't have to remain broken, and Diluc wants so badly to make amends.
