Summary
Ron Stallworth doesn’t notice Flip Zimmerman at first. The Colorado Springs Police Department is a sea of white men: young white men close to him in age, middle aged white men, aging white men. Even when Ron is finally in a room with Flip Zimmerman, he doesn’t notice him. Ron's too busy focusing on the chief and the sergeant to pay attention to the nondescript white boy lounging on a couch in the background.
Ron finally notices Flip when he’s taping a microphone to his undershirt. You can’t not notice when a tall, fairly good looking man leans into your space and starts pinning things to your under-clothes.Series

Summary
Flip Zimmerman is very good at not thinking about things. He doesn’t think about being Jewish; he wears a Star of David because his Bubbie gave it to him years before she died, and it makes him feel closer to her. Flip doesn’t really think about his identity at all. He goes to work at the police department, but “cop” isn’t really how he thinks of himself. When Flip gets off work on Fridays he often drives to the edge of town and walks into the tiny bar with the blacked out windows. He has a couple of beers and sometimes he allows himself to be picked up by a guy, for sex in a car or a restroom or an alley, but he doesn’t describe himself as gay, even inside the privacy of his own head.

Shane and Ilya had mutually agreed to keep their whatever-they’re-doing out of Sochi. It was an easy decision to make: this was bigger than any MLH rivalry and definitely bigger than a few hotel hook-ups. There was no room for distractions, not with Olympic gold on the line.
So it’d be really fucking great if their daemons could get on the same page and stop trying to cause an international fucking incident.

Summary
On July 4, 2018, Ilya announces to the world that he has already played his last home game on Boston Raider ice. He's an Ottawa Centaur now, for better or for worse.
Most all of Boston Twitter agrees it's for worse.
Shane Hollander, watching alone on his couch at the cottage that Ilya just left a few days ago, knows it's for the better. And he thinks he knows that Ilya thinks it's for the better too, that Ilya's excited for the move, excited to be closer to Shane. It's just hard to remember that when Ilya looks so distracted and sad in the wake of the news breaking.
But one day, Shane's going to promise this man that he'll be there for him through better or worse, so he may as well start practicing now.

Summary
The Swiss National League doesn’t care about the legendary Hollander-Rozanov rivalry. When the MLH can’t negotiate with the Hockey Players’ Union in time to prevent a hockey lockout at the start of the 2015 season, the Zürich Lions jump at the chance to sign both Shane and Ilya to short-term contracts. For four months in Switzerland, they share a team, a line, a house, and a bed.
Then the lockout ends in January, and it’s time to go back. Back to different countries, cities, lives. Beds.
Reentry is harder than expected.
