This fic is me basically asking myself what I would do if I were reborn in 40K and knew how to code, and the funniest reaction the mechanicus could have to me sending them a demo of Horizon Zero Dawn in my opinion.

±8 years until the double dungeon incident
It all started to go downhill for us when the Fire Nation attacked and destroyed the American west coast together with our strongest fighters, of which very few survived.
That's at least how I would describe the current situation to a person who was awakening{pun intended} from a coma(not eternal slumber, most likely)if I had been given the job of explaining to them dungeons/gates, magical beasts, what hunters are and why they exist, of course, for as to why gates exist I would have no explanation or answer. Still, I would at least try to make an effort to explain the basics of what happened while they were in a coma ...after I made that reference.

Kakashi was tired.
A couple times he still second guessed himself. Wondered if it would be better to fail the team and let whatever happens to them happen.
But every time he saw the photo of his old team, he remembered why he couldn’t.
He couldn’t let that happen to them. This system had already screwed them over. The people who were supposed to care for them had done the opposite.
Kakashi wasn’t going to be another adult who let these kids down.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. And maybe I’ll only make things worse…” Kakashi murmured softly to the framed photo at his bedside. “…But I have to try.”
He had to. Or these pups were as good as dead.
OR: Kakashi realizes how bullshit it is that Team Seven was even a team in the first place, and does things differently. Screw Hiruzen for putting him in this position.

Summary
Team 7 going back in time, deciding that Konoha isn't where they reach their potential. Or more like, they already reached their potential and are certain they won't be able to keep from decking, burning or electrocuting others that treat Naruto as anything other than the sunshine he is. Konoha finds out just how screwed they are around the time of the chuunin exams when Uzushio of all places enters a team to participate.

Turns out killing Adam had some serious consequences ... who knew?
Well Vox did and that's why he ended up getting sent back in time to stop the First Man from biting the dust before everyone returns to it. And if his sudden change in behavior makes more then a few people raise an eyebrow and question things then fuck them. Vox already lost everyone once, gained some much needed (and bitter) insight because of it and decided that no fucking way he's about to live through that a second time.
If that means being a bigger dick then 'original dick' then Vox will do it and just pray that he doesn't end up shooting Adam himself before everything is said and done.
