It makes no sense. It is them, there’s no doubt about it. But it isn’t, either. They all look older. A lot older. Jungkook looks huge, Seokjin’s hair is platinum blonde, Taehyung’s shoulders look three times broader. It makes no sense.
“Are we maybe… still high on the drugs that we must have taken?” Seokjin whispers.
“God, I sure hope so.” Yoongi answers.
(AKA: I wrote the AU everyone has been talking about which is 2014 Bangtan time-travelling to 2019 and seeing the fireworks from the Metlife Stadium and wondering whose concert it is and finding out it's theirs.)

“We need to be somewhere no one will overhear us,” explained Taehyung.
Seokjin wrapped his arms around the younger’s waist. “Oh, really?” he asked, devilishly. “I didn’t take you for an exhibitionist, Kim Taehyung,” he teased, biting down on his neck.
“Seokjin-ah,” scolded Taehyung, although he smiled, eyes fluttering closed. “I’m serious. This is a serious conversation.”
“I’m allergic to serious conversations,” replied Seokjin, kissing down Taehyung’s neck.
“It’s about Ryungjin,” said Taehyung, and Seokjin immediately stopped.
Kim Taehyung is inching ever closer to the life he’s always dreamt of, building a family to call his own, with the love of his life, Kim Seokjin, and their five brothers, revelling in the good life that comes after suffering. Everything is as it should be… until Taehyung meets a girl he has an unknown connection to, who turns his world upside down, making the coiled thread of time begin to unravel around them. Together with Seokjin, they find a way to make sense of the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle, and maybe, this time, Taehyung will find a way to make his hyung stay for good.

Summary
Taehyung nearly screamed at the top of his lungs as Seokjin appeared next to him.
“Oh my God!” he cried, bending over, and putting his hands on his knees, breathing deeply. “You scared the fucking life out of me, hyung! At the bus stop, really?” he asked.
As he returned to full height, Seokjin looked confused and pointed a finger at him. “You don’t seem all that shocked?” he said, cocking an eyebrow. “You know, about the appearing thing…”
Kim Taehyung keeps seeing his hyung appearing and disappearing in front of him and thinks he’s going mad. Kim Seokjin is a time traveller, but he doesn’t know how or why, only that he has to save his brothers over and over again, from fractured time loops and alternate timelines. Soon, the two begin to make sense of Seokjin’s gift, finding out that they don’t always need time on their side, and that sometimes one timeline is all you need to find the most beautiful moment in life.

The man sits down in the gravel and tears open the box, eating greedily. “I’m Jungkook, by the way.” Seokjin doesn’t respond. “No? Don’t be mad, come on. If you don’t tell me I’ll just make one up.”
Seokjin rolls his eyes. “It’s Seokjin.”
“Nice to meet you. Like, officially. So, when are you from?”
“2018,” Seokjin answers plainly.
“No way, I’m from 2019!” Jungkook shouts, smiling. “Where-”
“Look, can we just- what’s with all the questions?” Seokjin snaps.
Jungkook looks startled, chewing slowly as if to not agitate Seokjin any further. “I just- I’ve never met anyone like me. Have you?”
Seokjin feels like kind of an asshole, the kid didn’t mean anything. “I didn’t know there were others like me.”
