Dread tended to wake up in places he had no recollection of going a lot these days. His life now a string of endless days and half-remembered nights, punctuated by the occasional bar brawl.
At that thought, he twisted his face in different ways, feeling for any signs of soreness or bruising indicating his unconsciousness was the result of more than just too much booze. When no pain hit him, he let out a sigh. Seemed he hadn’t gotten into a fight last night, at least. That was a relief. It had been happening more often these days, as he defended his status as the most dangerous pirate on the seas.
Not that he’d been on the sea in months.
Not since the day the Devil’s Lighthouse claimed his ship. His crew.
And his courage.
“Is that him?”
“Maybe? I can’t tell from this angle, but it could be.”
The voices of the pub washed over him, failing to find purchase in his mind. He let out a soft sigh as the reality of his situation settled in, now that he was frustratingly awake, and mind-boggingly hungover. His head pounded in time with his heart, once again making him wish for the bliss of unconsciousness.

“No no… there’s just some old recordings I’d.. like to have.”Tails decided to take an expedition to the local Junkyard harboring most of Robotnik's failed and destroyed tech in hopes of saving the Wachowskis a trip to an auto shop. Unexpectedly, a familiar face resides in that junkyard, and Tails takes on another task to assist the old frenemy. As the night continues, Stone opens up more and more to the little fox, and Tails does his best to bring some sense of closure to the agent.

“Letting animals roam the store alone, I see.”
Silver turned, and found two older ladies standing at the end of the aisle, looking in his direction. They looked similar, obviously related, and sported identical light jackets. Only the colors differed—one pink, and the other purple.
“It should at least be on a leash,” the one in pink said, shaking her head.
He turned to look the other way. People on this planet used leashes on their dogs when they took them out for walks. Maybe someone had brought a dog into the store. He liked dogs, they were usually really friendly, and if he asked politely he sometimes got to pet them.
But there weren’t any dogs down the aisle that he could see. Just a few other shoppers. He turned back to the older ladies, brow slightly furrowed.
“Puttin’ its filthy paws all over everything, too,” the one in purple said, her face pulled into a grimace of distaste. “Disgusting.”
The furrow in his brow deepened until a realization hit.
They weren’t looking in his direction.
They were looking at him.
He was the animal they were so disgusted by.

The alternate timelines from Sonic Prime (New Yoke, Boscage, ect) still exist, but the actual plot of the show never happened- No Sonic impacting Nine and Mangey’s lives, no awareness of alternate versions of themselves. Characters from the main timeline (Tails, Kit, ect) are more aligned with their video game/comic canon. All of the characters have aged into young adults, so they may have slightly different looks and personalities to reflect this passage of time.
