Summary

Now they were outlaws, but some things never change. After his girls leave him behind to retire from their bloody lifestyle, Jack finds himself hanging around Spanish Jackie's.
Of course, that's when Izzy Hands comes in, intending to hatch a nefarious plan.
Jack has a better suggestion.Or: Jack convinces Izzy to belong to someone who actually wants to keep him.

Izzy is short and skinny for his age. He’s full of scars and venom from the things he’s been forced to do to live as one of Hornigold’s boys. He usually knows better than to fight back against whatever foster parent he gets stuck with, knows better than to draw attention.
But every man has their breaking point.
The stitches are still fresh when they pull him into the meeting room of the group home. It seems they’ve finally managed to track down his father, who was very surprised to learn he had a child.
Now it seems he's gaining a family, whether he wants it or not.

Summary
When Ponyboy was five, he was in the backseat of the car during the crash that killed his parents. Left with a broken arm and debilitating nightmares, Darry and Soda are left to pick up the pieces. Between figuring out a routine, getting the boys back to school, and visits from their social worker, Darry has a lot to manage. He won't let anything break up his family any further, and he'll do whatever it takes to keep his brothers in his care.
A retelling of Darry's decision to keep his younger brothers after their parent's die, but with a much younger Ponyboy.
