Summary
Guy Anatole was always foolish when it came to certain life decisions, especially those which his traitorous brain and heart made for him. One of those decisions was to fall in love with a vampire and barely be aware of it until it was too late to go back. Not to mention that the said vampire was a man and that the age difference between them was diabolical.

Guy couldn't escape from Jasper so the angry vampire imprisons him next to his pet revenants. Doris barely escapes but not without having the threat of Jasper's revenge glued to her back.
Maybe the full extent of Jasper's fury would be unleashed on Guy, or maybe the vampire will learn how to forgive once he manages to break into the human's mind completely and find something precious there.

''I don't wanna die.'' - Guy whispered again, voicing all the desperation he could endure, without losing his mind.
The look on Jasper's face changed for a second as if his expression softened without his permission, because the next moment his eyes were back to their terrifying icy blue glare that made Guy's heart skip a beat. His hair was roughly pulled back, exposing the column of his neck for the vampire's sharp fangs. Before he could whimper or even say anything, Guy heard Jasper's voice whisper his own damnation to the skin that hugged his vulnerable jugular veins.
''Don't you think that's exactly what you deserve, boy?'' - Jasper asked, rubbing his nose up and down the boy's skin like he was trying to leave his scent there.

Summary
Will Graham jumps in front of the bullet to save none other than Hannibal Lecter - the person who broke him down into tiny million pieces.
It wouldn't be so unbelievable for Will to try and protect someone but he, almost unconsciously, spilled his own blood to save the man who betrayed him in the cruelest of ways.
Maybe his all consuming need to protect others worked against him this time, or maybe Will actually loved Hannibal too much to let him die by such a simple and boring death. Or maybe he still wanted to kill Hannibal himself?
He is not even sure anymore. Maybe one day he'll be able to answer that question, but for now he needs to survive. Again.
