Summary
Han Jisung was a simple human with hundreds of problems in his life & an equal number of complaints against the universe. His weird logic had made his friends laugh; his family frustrated, & God, amused.
Knowing he would never change until he was guided correctly or at least some of his self-created problems were solved, God sent guardian angels to help the idiot out of his misery.
Yes, guardian angels; more than one. Because one possibly couldn't handle Han Jisung alone. Thus his problems started to get solved one by one over time.
But then came Hwang Hyunjin; Jisung's biggest problem, who never really left him alone.

Jisung even explicitly stated they should only tell the truth for the experiment to actually work. The only exception was one tiny, itsy-bitsy little lie- they weren’t even a real couple to begin with.

“Seungmin’s like…” one of them hesitated, clearly trying not to be rude. “I mean… he’s smart, yeah, but also…”
“Scary?” someone suggested.
“Hot in a do-not-approach kind of way?”
“Like if ‘leave me alone’ was a person.”
Seungmin rolled his eyes,
The flame and the light.
He hated how often they got lumped together, “the smart ones.” As if being good at academics put them in the same category. As if Seungmin’s barely-there effort and Minho’s perfect punctuality were the same thing.
Minho was everyone’s favorite.
He smiled like a public service.
He was calm, collected, admirable. Every inch the kind of guy people wanted to be or be with.
Seungmin?
He didn’t smile unless it was a smirk. He corrected professors without blinking. He never raised his hand. Just spoke when he felt like it.
They were two sides of a coin.
One wrapped in gold.
The other sharp enough to cut.
