Annette puts her hands on her hips, one eyebrow arching imperiously upward. For someone who’s barely five feet tall on a good day, she’s suddenly taking up all the space in the room.

Summary
It was Christmas Eve, babe, in the drunk tank. Where Vash, alone at the end of his road, is haunted by four spirits. (Well, one spirit. Four of one spirit. Though they're not really the same, it's more like--okay it's Wolfwood. Wolfwoods. Wolveswood. There's four of them.) Will Vash heed their (his? their?) message?

Summary
Seeing him like this, wearing Vash’s coat and on his knees in supplication, made Vash want to possess him—brand him like a prize horse, collar him like a loyal dog. Years and years he’d spent on this sandy planet denying almost every one of his wants, but this… This transcended want or need. It was a calling, the same way others were called to thank their maker.
