Summary
Olruggio receives an offer that most witches would sacrifice everything for: a position in Beldaruit, one of the great magical cities of the country.
It should have been an easy decision.
After years spent protecting Qifrey, raising apprentices, holding the atelier together and quietly placing everyone else before himself, perhaps choosing his own future for once is the right thing to do.
So why does leaving feel so unbearable?
Qifrey had never realized how important Orluggio was and now he was about to lose him.

“My feet are really aching on this floor,” Qifrey says, sighing a bit overdramatically, just for the sake of it. “There’s no rug in here or anything. And they get cold.”
“Oh,” Olly looks confused. “Do you want me to bring you—”
Qifrey cuts him off again, tipping his bearded chin up with a hand. He brushes the pad of his thumb across Olly’s bottom lip, pressing it down to see a hint of the pink inside. “Will you be my footrest, while I work?”

Summary
If there was one thing that the Chief Communications Officer of the Decepticons did not listen, hear, or adhere to, it was his spark and the spark of all those who walked past him. Or so that was what Shockwave thought during the times of contemplation and admiration for that commander’s work.
It was a jester’s standard tool to pester Shockwave’s drive from logic, but if he had to speak with what was left of a contrived spark, it would be that everything he had contributed to science was from his soul. What could Soundwave have worked off from? Shockwave couldn’t quite piece this together with rationale.
He also wasn’t quite sure how to piece this one puzzle with facts and logic and truth: the one that birthed when his hand and mind drifted to saving the MIA mech.
