Orbiting the lone gas giant Antigar, in the Strabo System, is Jarrahe Station. A mysterious research base built by the Lystheni, it is staffed by Humans whose loyalty to their homeworld has a price, and overseen by an unfettered machine intelligence named "Cynthia."
Although separated by the chasm between biology and technology, she and her system administrator, Dr Valerio Talesin, kindle a relationship through the bridge made through a neural interface. As her lover wrestles with what it means to love a machine, Cynthia shares with him the inner workings of her systems. And, in her darkest hour, she comes face-to-face with what she truly is.
Story is based on the Mass Effect 2 quest "N7: Abandoned Research Station."
