“Oh,” Izuku blinked, “Nighteye didn’t pay me.”

It’s sort of funny, in a way. That Nighteye’s treatment of Izuku only comes up after he’s already dead. After it’s already over and Izuku’s already moved on.
And he has, for the record. Moved on.
Honestly, he’d much prefer it if people stopped pretending like this was a big deal.

Summary
Many things washed up on the shores of Dawn Island. From Gray Terminal's trash to Hightown's trinkets, something about the currents had a way of taking things thrown into the sea and returning right back to Dawn Island’s shores. Fish, sharks, and even whales often got beached by the sandy foot of Mount Colubo or beaten to death against the rocks. On one special occasion, a boat ran aground not far from Foosha Village. That had been a good couple of weeks, Luffy getting a few friends and later a hat out of it. Unfortunately, Shanks and his crew had left for the Grand Line several years ago now, and Luffy wasn’t sure that he’d ever see them again.
But of all the things Luffy had found on the south shores of dawn, this… this was new.
Because the thing Luffy found face down in the sand was undeniably none other a merman.

After a few more agonizing seconds during which Peter weighs the possibilities that he just gave his mentor and the savior of the world a heart attack, Mr. Stark looks up at him, eyes suddenly wide.
A beat passes.
"What's your teacher's name again?"
AKA, Ryland Grace and Tony Stark hooked up in college. This is fine, until 20 years later, Peter Parker gets involved. It's all downhill from there.

“That was sarcastic, Midoriya-kun—“

"That might just work."
