Summary

Agatha groans once more before opening her eyes. She looks around in confusion before looking at me and Penny.
“Simon? Penny?”
“Yes, we are here Agatha. You are safe now,” Penny says, taking Agatha’s hand.
“Safe..” Agatha murmurs. Her eyes suddenly widen and she grabs my arm hard, her fingernails digging into my skin.
“Baz! Where is Baz?! Did you find him?”
“Baz?” I frown. “What do you mean if we found him?”
Agatha’s face ashens. A sinking feeling drops down in my stomach as I take in her expression. My mind goes back to the cell, with another empty cot besides Agatha’s. No…
“The goblins. They took Baz too. He is still with the goblins.”Or: It's 8th year and both Agatha and Baz get kidnapped by goblins that want revenge on Simon. The goblin king becomes interested in Baz and wants him for himself while Simon tries desperately to rescue Baz from the goblins' clutches.

In other words, I don't think Baz's issues were explored enough in the books, so I'm pushing my 'Baz needs therapy too' agenda.

I feel my skin tighten in a scowl. The sink's chill settles deeply into my bones. I've been here too long, my arms ache, and my knees scream at me, begging for rest. Simon's bound to have noticed my absence by now. He’s awfully perceptive, even when unconscious. Part of me wonders how he hasn’t noticed how dreadful I’ve looked recently. Though I suppose I didn’t either until now. Gripping the sink tighter, I shake my head in a pathetic attempt to stir my mind straight. I know these thoughts aren't rational. But self-awareness has never been known to cure disease.
