Or, a damned soul faces the wrath of the King and King of the Underworld. (He didn't even know there were two kings of the Underworld but he wishes there were none at all).

When Dazai Osamu first appeared on the agency’s doorstep with an incomplete application and a halfhearted recommendation, Ranpo’s first impression was ‘kill it with fire.’
His second thought was ‘it can’t join the agency.’ Much like a stray cat, Ranpo could see in the thing’s desperate, starved eyes that if it were given a scrap of affection, it would curl up in the nearest sunny spot and never leave. He didn’t need his (an) ability to see that.

Summary
Abandoning Mori’s rule and joining the Armed Detective Agency was the best decision the duo had ever made. The change of alliance proved detrimental to the Port Mafia and allowed them to build a new life for themselves under the organization’s protection. Dazai was astronomically proud of the decisions he made and eternally grateful for Chuuya’s unwavering loyalty throughout the process.
Odasaku would be proud.
He’s missed his friend. It was with a sad smile that he realized he’d get to have drinks with him soon again. Maybe Chuuya would join him this time around.
The battered man in his arms poured all his energy into opening his eyes. He was met with a look of both adoration and irrefutable sadness.
“You’re thinking stupid things again.”
Selfless until the very last minute, huh? He found bittersweet comfort in Chuuya’s remark.
Or alternatively,
Dazai had come to terms with dying alongside Chuuya in the woods. The anguish he felt as Chuuya took his last breath was soothed by the idea of them reuniting in a few short minutes. His dream of a bittersweet Bar Lupin reunion with his favorite people was ripped away from him as he heard the sound of the ADA's arrival.

Still, it would probably be far easier for him if coming out went smoothly for everyone and Teruhashi came to terms with her status as a lesbian, so he decides to help out. You know, like a good ally.
Saiki Kusuo isn't LGBTQ. Not experiencing sexual attraction is totally normal. Transforming between biological sexes soon after birth doesn't count. And his interest in Satou Hiroshi is purely one of curiosity.
That has to be true. Because for Saiki Kusou, coming out sure seems like a pain.

New York City has a vast array of vigilantes and superheroes that call its streets home. Dazai Osamu, Port Mafia Executive and Mori Ougai’s right hand, is deployed to start building relationships in the area. Mori, ever the fan of tests, leaves Dazai to figure out how to best handle the local vigilantes on his own.
And Frank Castle? He’s just worried that keeping this kid who refuses to identify himself alive may be more difficult than he was hoping.
Or; a city-wide adventure, hotel hopping, forging friendships with local heroes and a long-winded game of cat and mouse, all featuring an embittered Veteran and a suicidal teenage boy.
