“You two look like a couple, all matchy like that,” Blue said. Gansey blushed and saw Adam tense as she went on, “Ooh, we could do a little wife swap thing tonight.”
“We could absolutely the fuck not.” Shaking his head, Ronan stood up. “Just because our husbands look hot together doesn’t mean I wanna sacrifice my night for the bit.” Gansey looked down, pretending to inspect the pattern of his tie.
Blue groaned. “Boring. I’m gonna make us do it another time, though.”
“Where did this come from?” Hearing Ronan and Blue talk about how good he and Adam looked together was making Gansey a little unsettled—not a bad kind of unsettled, more like off-kilter. “I mean, I’m all for a little theatricality, but…”
“Oh,” Ronan said, a smirk spreading across his lips, “I can do theater.”
