Summary
- Joe came to London hoping to become a famous artist. He had to leave behind a family that doesn't approve of his choices, he’s also in love with love, which is why he often ends up suffering.
Nicky arrived in London dreaming of opening a restaurant but ended up trapped in a very abusive relationship that put his whole life on hold.
Their paths cross by chance and it all starts under the worst possible circumstances, so how is it going to end?- Joe/Nicky is my OTP, other pairings are just mentioned/implied.

Summary
Yes, another getting together story. In which Nicolò wants to go home but needs a guide, and Yusuf doesn't want to be alone, therefore accepts to accompany him. They still hate everything about eachother, though, and being together sometimes just brings out the worst of them both.
Also, the journey is long and dangerous and it's safer if Nicolò pretends to be Yusuf's prisoner. Or maybe not?

Summary
The sad man doesn’t always need flowers for the dead, thankfully. Sometimes he says it’s a gift for a woman or a kid. He always talks about the flowers’ recipients as if he is reading from a report, his tone almost detached, but Joe can distinguish the lines of emotion here and there, like delicate little blooms growing between wild bushes.
“Widower, late sixties. Loves tea and detective novels. No children or pets.”
Chrysanthemums, gladiolus, and forget-me-nots.
“Teenage boy. No siblings but many cousins. Likes football and a German rock band.”
Daisies, columbines, and snapdragons.
Sometimes the sad man doesn’t show up for a couple of months, and Joe begins to wonder if perhaps he has imagined him after all.
Joe owns a flower shop where he makes the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements. He takes real pride in his work.
Unfortunately, he cannot say the same about his non-existent romantic life. Joe wonders if that’s the reason why he has been paying too much attention to his new client, a beautiful man with big eyes and a sad face.

Summary
Together, they strip the corpses of fallen soldiers like scavengers, sending prayers of forgiveness to their respective Gods, and take what they can carry on two horses. Eilat is several weeks of hard riding away, and from there Yusuf is insistent they take a merchant ship to Aden. Nicolo soon loses all feeling in his behind and thighs. Yusuf continues to alight from his horse as if having awoken from a pleasant nap. “It’s all about rhythm,” he tells Nicolo, moving his hips to demonstrate. Nicolo contemplates killing him, for whatever good that will do.

He doesn’t have any friends. He had two pieces of furniture, neither of which were a bed, by the way.” She shook her head. “James portrayed himself as a man who slept on the floor, lived alone, and attacked John Walker with no provocation. Of course they had him committed.”
