Summary
In a world where colorful patterns appear on people's skin when they touch their soulmate, Tony and Peter don't meet until Peter is an accomplished adult in his own right and is seeking to join the Avengers. This story aims to eliminate some of the more toxic elements of Starker: Peter's twenty-two, has several college degrees, an impressive publishing history and has never called Tony "Mr. Stark." But don't worry, it's still filthy porn with sex toys and praise kinks where they're in character.
Peter's wanted to find his soulmate his whole life; Tony's almost convinced he's part of the twelve percent of people who never meet their match. They're about to have all their dreams come true.
Also, important sidenote: Steve Rogers is a dick, and the Fantastic Four are delightful.

"What can I do, Tony?" Steve asks after Peter wanders over to the bar to get drinks.
"You can leave?"
"Come on, Tony. I wanna make it up to you. Please" Tony prides himself with being able to resist those puppy eyes. They're not nearly as effective as Peter's.
"Are you serious? How exactly are you planning to make it up to me? You left me for dead. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not invincible. In what reality do you think that's something you can ever undo?"
Tony crosses his arms, and hopes Peter doesn't give them too much time.
"I didn't— T'challa was there"
"Yeah, but you didn't know that. I didn't know that."

“Hey,” Tony says after a bit, “Peter, we should really talk about this. I mean, I can’t believe I’m saying that because when have I ever wanted to talk about things but eventually you’re going to come out of this and— shit, I have no idea what you’re going to do, kid.”
“Mmm,” Peter hums, and licks over Tony’s mark.
“Or— or not,” Tony says. “Fuck. Not yet, I guess. Ok. That’s fine. No talking.”
Tony moves his hand then, fingers sliding through Peter’s hair softly, evenly, and that feels really nice too. Everything feels nice, Peter would be perfectly happy to stay like this forever.
