Bella Swan actually thinks walking is pretty overrated. She wants desperately to have use of her legs-not just to be able to aggressively dance to Sia without falling off of her shower chair-but so that she can dance.
In comes Edward Cullen, who takes one whiff of Bella's delicious scent...and pounces.
Blah, blah, Bella's body is healed through the venom. HOWEVER. She hates Edward with the fire of a thousand suns. She can't see her mother or her father anymore and has to give up on her dream of being in the limelight...and finishing her fic.
Basically, there are two angsty immortal teenagers in the Cullen residence, and then there are two happy go lucky idiots. Together, these two crazy kids might just finally build their dream life...or after-life anyway.

I gritted my teeth, then bared them at her. I got the impression she was not impressed, making me concerned for myself since I didn't want to believe I was starting to learn her various shades of "lifelessness."
"Fine! But-" I shook a finger sternly in her face. "No one will believe this whole 'lover' business if you keep calling me that. It's Lourde from now on."
She presented her own scarred right hand. When I gripped it, and our combined mutilated hands joined together, it made me think about the stitches in a cloth pattern. Suddenly, we were the same.
