Summary
When Arthur nearly dies by Lady Helen's dagger, Merlin uses magic to heal him. Unwilling to see Merlin executed for saving his life, Arthur turns a blind eye—but only under the condition that Merlin take on the role of his servant. What starts as "keeping his enemy closer" soon turns into completely redefining who his enemy is, as Merlin helps Arthur to unlearn his father's hatred. Summary
