Summary
Yuriko was the kind of girl to know what it meant to keep a sword close and pride even closer. She was able to hold a weapon against someone’s throat after pulling them out of the storm. She had lived a life where the line between friends and enemies had blurred to the point that trust didn’t come easily.
At least, that was Midari’s conclusion. But then again, pulling a girl out of a storm after she collapsed was generous, so generous that she could excuse the initial unease now that time had passed.

The world didn’t stop, and time moved forward and backward simultaneously, seeing both the past and present. And history was being written and saved as they spoke. And they were consistently etched in one another’s history. Her realizing she was in love didn’t stop any of that, and it didn’t scare her either.
