Pomni'd always thought that a mating bite would be an aggressive thing. But when Jax bites down against her, it's so gentle that it makes her sob.
Her teeth dig in and Pomni is an overripe peach in her mouth, flesh soft and yielding. The blood that seeps from the wound is warm and heady with her scent and Jax is greedy for it.
