Summary
Astrid goes missing while travelling and, unable to trace the teenager, Lydia desperately summons the 600-year-old ghost whom she’s managed to avoid marrying twice.
This time, however, he’s not gonna help her until he’s made her his wife.
Lydia has no choice but to travel the world and solve the mystery of her daughter’s disappearance with a very loud, very chaotic and very dead husband by her side.

After Betelgeuse’s violation of code 699, Juno decides to teach the troublesome ghost and the strange and unusual goth woman who keeps calling him for help a lesson they both won’t forget by tricking them into signing a contract that will change everything.
In which Betelgeuse ends up a living, breathing person, and Lydia ends up dead with the ghost’s otherworldly powers.
Betelgeuse now gets to shout Lydia’s name three times whenever he wants her attention (which is pretty much all the time), while Lydia uncovers dark secrets in the afterlife about the ex-ghost that may leave her facing a permanent second death...

Summary
It’s a cold winter night in Manhattan when Lydia Deetz calls on Beetlejuice to save her from a vicious attack. The more they talk in the hours that follow, the more Lydia suspects that there’s hidden history between them that needs to be revealed. The quest for the truth kicks off an epic adventure, where Lydia, Astrid, Beetlejuice’s neighbors, and the Afterlife Police must travel to the ends of the Neitherworld and beyond to save the Ghost with the Most before it’s too late.
Set a few weeks after the events of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, this story combines characters and events from both the cartoon and the films.
