Satoru thought: well.
"You know," Satoru said, "I spent about six months telling myself the reason I kept thinking about you was professional concern."
Yuuta went very still.
"Didn't really convince myself." Satoru tilted his head. "Alright."
"...Alright?"
"Yes. Let's — give it a try. Date. Whatever the appropriate terminology is." Satoru waved a hand. "I'm somewhat out of practice with the conventional framing."
Yuuta stared at him.
"There's — one thing," Yuuta said. His voice was carefully even. "I'd like to — keep it quiet, for now. If that's alright with you."
"Quiet."
"Just — between us. Not announce it."
