Post-Shibuya, after Megumi convinces Yuuji to go back to Jujutsu High, they stay overnight in an abandoned hotel. Sometimes, at night, you have conversations you might not otherwise.

"Aw man," Yuuji says, and he can feel the tears pricking at the corners of his eyes again. "If we weren't about to go on a suicide mission, I'd… I'd probably try to kiss you right now."
Megumi stops breathing for a second. His grip tightens until it hurts. He looks at Yuuji, eyes wide, caught between panic and something that looks a whole lot like hope.
"Yeah," he says, his voice barely a whisper. "I'd probably let you."

Megumi sonrió. Sonrió de lado, con sus bonitos labios torcidos. Yuuji sentía que veía visiones, el golpe lo dejó demente y ahora ve visiones. Él nunca vio a Fushiguro Toji sonreír. Esto es algo nuevo y muy loco. Es como si Toji hubiera perdido veinte años y estuviera sonriendo. Una locura.

Megumi atiende en la clínica veterinaria y tiene una vida completamente legal y normal ahora. Creyó que no tendría que pisar el club de mala muerte de su padre nunca jamás hasta que Toji arrastra a un boxeador ensangrentado a su departamento.

Summary
Yuuji will eat this finger like all the others. He will eat it, and then he will be executed, because there won't be any fingers left.
Before he can think better of it, Megumi drops the finger into his shadow. It disappears in the blink of an eye. No trail left behind. No sign that it was ever here.
No one has to know.
