Summary
"So he's really paralyzed?" Simon asks.
"Oh? Uh, yeah." Grace turns back to Rocky's sleeping form and gestures broadly at him.
Rocky is curled at the bottom of his tunnel, legs at his sides, body resting on the ground.
Simon nods, looking uncomfortable. "So he won't interrupt."
"Nah, he can't, he's– huh?" Grace fumbles for his glasses in earnest now. His heart rate picks up, but he's sort of hoping he's wildly misinterpreting what he just heard.
"Sit back down." Simon growls as Grace goes to stand up.
Slowly, Grace sits back down on the floor. He looks Simon over again and realizes, with a panicked flutter in his stomach that quickly spreads through his limbs like ice water, that Simon is holding a razor blade.

Grace & Rocky decide to go check out an SOS call. It could have gone better. (Trust me, eventual codependent friendship all around.)

One single shot rang out.
A pained exclaim escaped Indiana Jones’ lips, as the bullet hit its mark. It tore through his shoulder; passing clean through-and-through and ended up jammed in the body of a henchman standing further behind. The latter collapsed at the same time as Indy’s knees buckled from the pure excruciating anguish. Multiple hands – both his father’s and Sallah’s – were there to catch him, to gently lower him to the ground.

Adrian skittered back and forth, which I think equated to a human throwing both hands up in exasperation. “With what question?”
“Science!”
“Whole time science question? Four years!”
“Is much science in universe!”--
Rocky has neglected to explain some very important cultural context to Grace.
