Complicated.
He was skittish, nervous and constantly anxious just a simple touch and the child looked ready to bolt out of the nearest window.
And gambit was not judging of course he was the same and even worse when he just arrived at wemmbu's hand but he certainly didn't do a list of reason of why wemmbu should keep him...

Wemmbu's new mace is insecure because he feels that wemmbu will get rid of him because gambit is back
