Dazai’s characterization is so fucking good. Honestly, chuuya’s is as well, but since the fic is in Dazai’s pov, you get more of a deep dive on him , I loved it.

Which was why he was instantly on guard when he walked in one morning to see a new face standing behind the counter.
Well, actually, first he saw his hair. Stop-sign red and styled up into spikes. Between that and the way-too-wide smile that stretched across his face, he was almost hard to look at directly.
Too goddamn bright for this early in the morning.
Or, pro-hero Ground Zero had a morning routine that he liked perfectly fine, thank you very much. That is, until a bright-eyed new barista showed up to throw a wrench in it, one caramel latte at a time.

I cant put words to describe how I feel. I can say I’m sad but also bittersweet. I’m going through and went through many emotions while reading this. It was a lot for my heart tbh, I cried, multiple times. I know the way I’m writing this seems like this alternative ending was simple but fuck it wasn’t. I’m devastated but this author is AMAZING at writing🫶🏾
P.S The way Dazai loves Chuuya makes me sob, literally. The grief in this story and moving on from it was amazingly well written.

This stories writing is absolutely amazing! The feelings the author was trying to convey were felt and reached. I feel like stories that go in to depth abt these certain feelings are kinda rare. You just could really tell how much kirishima and Bakugou loved eachother, and ofc their dog <3
It was a wonderful story dealing with trauma and healing.

“Hello, how can I help you?” Kirishima said, moving behind the counter. Only then did he look up at the customer that had just walked in.
Fuck.
He wore a heavy frown on his face, blonde hair pulled back with a black bandana. His tank top left very little to the imagination; his athletic build obvious.
Kirishima’s eyes moved down to his neck, which hosted a scorpion tattoo about the size of Kirishima’s hand. His arms were covered with patchwork tattoos, every inch of skin devoted to some piece of art. They seemed to tell a full story while also being completely disconnected from each other.
The lower half of him was covered with a tattered pair of grey sweatpants and Kirishima immediately snapped his eyes back upward.
The customer scowled, “I need a bouquet.”
