Summary
My dearest, Childe,
I hope my humble gift has made it to you in one piece. This artifact is known as the Flower of Creviced Cliff and is over a thousand years old. It is part of the Archaic Petra set, a long sought and priceless piece of Liyue’s history dating back to the Gilded Age of Rex Lapis.
I found this in a dig site in Guyun Stone Forest, where I am writing this by the light of the moon and my little camping lantern. The rest of the crew is already asleep, but I wanted to give you some context for when you receive this gift, as I hope you will. Please do not tell anyone that I have quietly pocketed it to send to you instead of handing it over to the museum. The advancement of historical knowledge is important to me, but you are infinitely more so, which makes this a small sacrifice indeed.
Yours always,
—ZhongliSeries

Summary
“I wrote this for someone very dear to me,” Zhongli says.
Childe swallows. He wants a drink, something strong. He wants to run, as far away from here as his legs will carry him. He wants Zhongli’s gaze to fall on him one more time.
The song is slow and sweet, Zhongli’s voice a low, sonorous melody and the bass its even, steady counterpart. Like water running down stone, fluid and graceful and unyielding all at once. Childe stares and stares. His mouth half open, eyes wide. He has never been touched so deeply or thoroughly by another musician’s work.

Summary
Childe sighed, scrubbing his hand over his face. “Rent is due tomorrow so I don’t have a lot of options. I guess I have to go crawling back to Pantalone.”
“Pantalone?”
“Yeah. He was my…” Childe hesitated, his restless fingers tracing the stitching on the couch cushions. “I guess you could call him a sugar daddy. Something like that.”
Zhongli blinked at him. Surprise and jealousy overtook him in a cold shock.
“Don’t look at me like that. I didn’t have many options. Still don’t.”
“I’m sorry,” Zhongli said. “I don’t mean to judge. It’s simply that…” That I find the thought of you belonging to someone else unbearable. “Well. It was unexpected. It’s not something I’m familiar with.”
“Yeah,” Childe said softly, sounding almost disappointed. “You wouldn’t be.”

Summary
“Understandable, given your situation,” Zhongli offers diplomatically. “If it is any consolation, I feel much the same way.”
A possibility crosses Childe's mind, and his expression changes thoughtfully. “Say, what if we made a deal? This is the Land of Contracts, after all, it should surely be appropriate.”
He can tell he’s piqued Zhongli’s interest, as the man’s head tilts and masked amber eyes narrow in on Childe’s face. “Oh? I have to admit, Master Childe, I am not particularly looking for new business ventures at the moment."
Childe waves a gloved hand dismissively. “No, no, not of that nature. I mean for the Hunt.”
Zhongli appears even more intrigued. “I’m listening.”
With a devious grin, Childe leans toward Zhongli and speaks lowly, though there’s no indication anyone is listening in on their conversation. “What if we partnered up for the Hunt? You’re not looking for a match, I’m not looking for a match, it’s a win-win opportunity.”

Or; Every five years, Teyvat holds the Hunter's Ball. It is an opportunity for the upper class and nobility of each nation to mingle, and to participate in the Hunt; a matchmaking game wherein predator hybrids hunt prey hybrids to secure a mate.

Summary
“A dragon’s treasure must be presented as an offering to proceed,” chimes the little Secret Source Servant hovering next to them.
Aether’s face twists into displeasure, glancing around the courtyard.
“Paimon still can’t see anything that looks like treasure,” she complains, flitting around the area.
It’s true, nothing stands out, even to Childe’s eyes. With a hum, he crosses his arms over his chest and thinks, considering the glimmering seal over the door looming before them. There are glowing lines of phlogiston running beneath the door and around its circumference. At the side of the door where the locking mechanism sits, there is what appears to be a small stone altar of sorts, raised up from the ground and surrounded in the same golden light as the door’s seal. Presumably, this is where the offering is supposed to be placed.
“What’s even in this Temple of the Coveted?” Childe inquires.
---
Childe attempts to help Aether with unsealing an ancient dragon temple in Natlan and gets more than he bargained for.
