Summary
Will Byers is a literal walking block of trauma. He has experienced so much at just the age of a teenager. He has seen things he thought could only come from a board game. He has seen things that couldn't been real if you were not there to see it. He once lived an isolated life, then a happy life with his friends and family, and then a much more isolated life.
As soon as he was rescued from the Upside Down in 1984, his friends and family all took measures in keeping him safe, not wanting a repeat of what happened to the poor boy. Until it happened again in October 1984, where he was possessed by an entity that wanted to conquer Hawkins and unleash an army of monsters upon it. Then it happened again in 1985, where he was taken to the Upside Down in his sleep and he didn't have any idea how he got there. He was trapped there for a few hours, it could've been much longer right? Wrong. He got out, and never thought of it ever again.
Then, he saw a stranger who captivated him with just her looks, he met her in the gym and continued to become friends... or maybe more?

Now, he's a got a lot of obstacles blocking his way, including his own mom. What adventures will he find outside of his textbooks?

Getting stranded during a severe storm, you stumble into an empty gas station store, meeting a very sarcastic employee you vibe with immediately. The two of you become fast friends, all while waiting for the storm to pass.
Or, a cozy story of two girls falling in love too quickly with each other, focusing solely on the moment and not so much of what's to come.
Also, I know it's a reader story, but honestly I can really see Zoey fitting into the role too.
