    Sung Jin-Woo is still the Shadow Monarch and he still grows in power unlike any other hunter. However, he doesn't have the system to back him up. He is a reawakened hunter with the skill to create undead shadow soldiers without any cheats or instant healing. Bearing the injuries of the double dungeon must fight the trials ahead of him with far more public scrutiny than before.

    In other words

    Solo leveling but there's no system and Jin-Woo responds to things like a real person who has emotions. He's still OP but not nearly to the level as in canon. He functions with the same worldbuilding as all the other Hunters in the setting, with things taking a pretty different course in the long run.

    Jin-Woo slowly works up the courage to look up at his captor savior the shadow person's face, only to see an ornate helmet with glowing orbs where eyes would be. He starts to tremble slightly as he looks upon one of the creatures that had been plaguing the edges of his sight and the dark corners of his mind since he was ten years old.

    Nobody had ever believed him when he tried to tell them what he saw, brushing off his fear as the product of an overactive imagination. Eventually he'd stopped trying to get others to notice, resigning himself to the sight of these menacing figures that haunted his nightmares.

    And now, five years later, the largest, most terrifying shadow-person he'd ever seen had not only pulled him out of the way of certain death, but was now addressing him like he's some kind of lord. What the actual hell?
