Summary
Purple knew they weren't like other crewmates and imposters, you simply couldn't put them into one box or the other. So, rather than dwelling on the fact that someone might figure out they may not be who they say they are, Purple focuses on making sure the crew doesn't die beyond what happened to White.
But what happens when Purple breaks the mold and gets to feel what it feels to be accepted for once..?

She pauses dramatically, lowering herself down just so. Despite its brightness, the optic does not warm her skin like she wishes the sun would.
“I would implement you into the Cooperative Testing Initiative. I don’t have hands, but I am a supercomputer, so it is a non-issue at most."
AKA: In the pursuit of Science, GLaDOS gives herself hands. And legs. And a portal gun. She might as well make Chell's life hell while she's at it.

Summary
Glados lived her life in sheer lines and meticulous execution. Everything from her appearance to her work to her interior design was intentional and precise, and this extended to her garden.
When she’d first moved in, she went through gardener after gardener, all yielding less than satisfactory results, before coming to the realization that if you want something done right, best to do it yourself. So that was how Glados found herself, on a few evenings during the week and several hours on weekends, elbow deep in potting soil or extracting weeds from pots and beds. She had a system, and it worked flawlessly for years.
Then she moved in.
