Concern settled across Scorpia's face. "I mean… yeah, she was, but she came back already." And then, slowly, carefully, "But that doesn't change what I said."
Catra felt herself sitting up.
"She and Huntara broke up before she left."
For a full second, the world went very quiet.
Then Catra was off the couch before anyone could react. The door swung open and banged against the wall. She was already through it.
Her shoes hit the pavement and she broke into a sprint, blowing past the bus stop on the corner because stopping, waiting, or standing still were not options her body was willing to do right now. She cut a hard left that ran straight to the campus center building she hadn't stepped foot in for over a year. She wasn't thinking about how she hadn't done real cardio in forever or the stitch already forming under her ribs.
The only thought she could even remotely sustain was…
Adora Grayskull was single.

Summary
Maybe it's parental hormones causing delusions or the fact that Catra never speaks more than two full sentences to her subjects, but people don't seem to realize that every kid looks the same. Seriously, every single one. The moment you crop out their outfit and slap them against the same soft gradient background, they all lose their spark of individuality, dulled to a simmering, unoffensive caricature of youth. It's kind of horrifying.

For a moment, Adora just stared at her with those big blue stupid eyes. Then she blinked. “Um… No, I don’t think so.”
