Summary
On an ordinary walk in the city— Arceus knew he needed it sometimes— Corbeau didn't think much of it until he spotted Paxton's Meganium, Sprout, unattended with its Trainer nowhere in sight. So rather spontaneous, Corbeau makes a little detour to help Sprout find Paxton.
In the meantime, he may find out a lot more about Paxton from just his Pokémon alone.(Can also be read as platonic, Paxton is 20 years old in this fic)

“They attacked me first, idiot,” Corbeau said. As was so often the case, his words were scathing but his tone was soft. “You're the one who shouldn't have to be involved.”
