Sieun stares at him. Spider-Man nods like he said something profound. “I see. You have such wise words.” He holds a hand out. “I’m Spider-Man.”
Sieun looks at the hand and then back at the mask. Spider-Man seems undeterred by the response, only high fiving himself as he walks around the lab. Sieun bites back a sigh as he closes the window and accepts this series of events.
When he was internally monologuing about the monotonous routine he’s developed, having a superhero disturb it was not what he was aiming for, he’s going to be really honest here.
Or : Sieun’s new friend may or may not actually be Spider-Man. He doesn’t really know. Not even Spider-Man knows, for some reason. Ahn Suho is related to this too, somehow, and Sieun finds the spring semester bringing him abnormal amounts of warmth.
Global warming, he assumes. There's no other explanation for it.

suho and sieun have had a ritual since they were dirt-gathering, bug-collecting, toothless little kids.
it’s a ritual that began in a damp, rocky hollow—with suho, sprawled on his bum, clutching at his knee and pouting up at a blank-faced sieun, as he begged, “sieun-ah, kiss.”
when met with the typical silence, suho had angled his chubby cheek nonetheless, determined and forthcoming. “kiss.”
it’s their little ritual that’s stayed well into adulthood, a precious thing that’s theirs, and theirs alone.

To say that his world collapses is rather the wrong sentiment.
In many ways, Suho would have preferred that, because if something is razed there’s an endpoint. A disaster that collapses a world does not change that world’s nature - it just kills it. You can look at the inert corpses of what once was everything and see that it is finished.
He’d have thought that this type of event would be like that. Destructive. Dramatic.
Final.
Instead, he gets something altogether more alarming.
Or,
Suho wakes up at age twenty-three and finds that nothing is as he remembers.

Summary
He dreams of the wind being knocked out of him, and he falls, and falls. He lands on his face and tastes bitter rubber and iron against his mouth, feeling heavy and weightless at the same time. As his ribs expand, and as the pain spreads through his aching limbs, he’s suddenly being yanked out by an overwhelming force—and he sees endlessly blue-yellow skies as his bleary vision accommodates, rays of blurry glimmering light peak through soft, shifting clouds. He hears a voice whisper by his ear, in a velvety soft timbre, deep and rich—comforting, indolent, whole. His heart stutters and all his feelings rush through him in waves upon tidal waves.
“Suho-ya,” the voice says.
He sinks, and doesn’t resist this time.
