    It'll all be fine. Except for the fact that Keith's trapped recovering in his flat with his alpha of a roommate who won't stop hovering. It's not like he got shot or anything. Oh wait he did. And now his hormones are a ticking time-bomb waiting to go off and ruin him for the way he's been suppressing them for years.

    All he had wanted was some Twizzlers god damn it.

    Lance takes this as an opportunity to wingman Keith, everyone wants to put in their two cents and Keith just wants to be left alone (with Shiro).

     


    "You guys aren't stupid," Shiro frowned. "Keith is the top of the class, and you're a close second, right?"

    "Wanna know what else Keith wants to be on top of?" Lance started, and Keith drove his heel into Lance's foot. He kept the pressure there as Shiro looked at them with a confused expression.

    "All his other classes," Lance wheezed, and Keith lifted his foot off. "Which is why I was just as surprised as everyone else when he was caught cheating."

    "I didn't cheat!" Keith grumbled and Lance stuck out his tongue. "You were caught too!"

    Keith stared at the black partition. He was squeezed into the back of a nondescript limo alongside thirteen other men. He could have been at home. With his dog. Working on his customers’ bikes and trucks, comfortable with the grease beneath his fingernails and old sweats hanging on by a mere thread.

    But no.

    Instead he was on his way to a TV set watched by millions, squeezed into a tux that was much too tight for his tastes, with thirteen other raucous men, on his way to supposedly either meet the love of his life or have his heart stomped into a million pieces while a camera crew filmed every tear.

    Keith was going to kill Pidge.
