The arena was down. Agron felt elevated on their way back to the temple, his heart and spirit light, his feet as if barely touching ground. They had suffered loss and many carried nasty wounds from the day, but they were victorious. Spartacus had done the impossible.
Agron couldn’t wait to be back at the rebel camp. To get the grime and stench off. The blood and dirty water clinging to his skin.
