"Roger had been sitting under the same tree, thick leaved with many branches, for a little while when something seemed to ruffle said tree's leaves. The wind, most likely. He instinctively stretched his arms upwards, feeling some stiffness no doubt caused by the handcuffs he'd been wearing limiting his movement, along with muscular ache caused by whatever had brought him back… When something fell in his arms. Lowering them he first saw a small face. Said face was looking at him curiously. Roger needed a second to realise he was holding a child, holding the little guy upside down at that."
