James, bucky, whatever, whoever, he is now, is just trying to get through life. First its the punk Steve , and his "I fight bully's but weigh no less than a sack of potatoes" , now, it's some hardass soldier who doesn't know what bieng real is.
He just wants a break.

The wolverine is barely a person, he's been in this wilderness for so long he forgets who, what he is.Logans trying to get through winter, the snow has covered most of the forrest, and animals are scarce.

Summary
Glass bubbles may be stronger than liquid but are still extremely fragile. Too much pressure and the bubble breaks. Unlike liquid glass, bubbles leave shards that if not cleans up could hurt people. After Leo becomes leader Raphael looks back on the life and roles he's been given by splinter. He's about to burst and unless the shards are cleaned up everyone's gonna get hurt.
Written for the fact that though splinter loves his kids I feel like he really dropped the ball on raph and it was never really addressed. Check out goldenspectre though they do an amazing job with this kinda stuff!
